You are browsing a furniture shop and you see it: a headboard that looks perfect. It is in stock and you can take it home today. But then you pause. Would a made-to-order or bespoke headboard be the smarter choice for your bedroom?

Is Made to Order More Expensive?

When Store-Bought Makes Sense
To be fair, a ready-made headboard is sometimes the right choice:
- You need something today. If you are moving in tomorrow and need a headboard immediately, buying from stock in a shop is the quickest option.
- Your room and bed are completely standard and you genuinely love a design you have seen.
- You expect to move very soon and want something you can leave behind.
For most other bedrooms, a headboard made for your bed and your room is worth the short wait.
